Last Days...

Today is the last day of my mini-cation.  *sad day*  Today it's back home to the coast.  I'm torn between which I like better, the beach or the mountains.  I got very little writing done due to waaay too much sleep-catching-up, but I did rewrite my synopsis and send it off to my editor.  =)  Yes, I'm serious about this book thing.  I always have been.  I just know better now than I did before.

Last night, I "daydreamed" about my agent/book deal.  I don't think you can really call it a daydream because it was night time and I was laying in bed...  But it was a WAAAY better deal than I'm sure I will get the first time around.  lol

Do you ever fantasize about your dream book deal?  How did it turn out?

Short Hiatus

My fiance and I celebrated our five year anniversary yesterday. =)  I took some time off this weekend (FOUR FREAKING DAYS!!!) and we came home to relax and spend some time together and see family.  I slept all afternoon.  Didn't realize how badly I needed that.  lol  I'm hoping that I will be able to move forward with some writing projects as well -- a screenplay I'm working on, synopsis revisions, edits on one or both novels -- but right now I'm just resting.  I hope this post finds everyone doing well and thanks for following!

A to Z Challenge - W, X, Y, and Z

W- Wedding - After all of the drama and changes and postponements, I'm starting to get excited about my wedding again.  Only eleven more months to wait!!

X - X-cited - Yep.  I did that.  I'm X-cited about my wedding and working on some writing tonight and being off work tomorrow.

Y - I don't have a word for this one.  This little letter causes me so much trouble.  In my name, the Y comes before the I.  T-Y-F-F-A-N-I.  Cool huh?  Everyone seems to love it *Point for mah mom*

Z - Zebra - I seriously want to ride a zebra one day.  No joke.  I will do it.

Happy end of the A to Z challenge everyone!!!  I made it through, but I half failed.  I don't think I visited one blog.  I apologize to you all.

T - Time - There never seemd to be enough.  April is almost over.  I started way ahead and I'm ending way behind.

U - Unsuccessful - Um...it's not an option.  #justsayin

V - Validation - Finishing a novel, even just the first draft, is very vindicating for me.  It means...I DID IT!  lol  And I can do it again.

S - Sleep - I can't seem to get enough the last couple days.  Perhaps I need some iron or something.  Whatever it is, it's getting in the way of progress.

Q - Quiet - I used to jam to music when I wrote, but I can't anymore.  For some reason I can't focus with music anymore, but I like to listen to rain sounds.  I actually bought some.  lol
